I chose to explore a more literal definition of proximity. Spatial relationships between forms. How those forms create structure, using only each other as support. The way light interacts with material, resting on the edges, shining through the surfaces and changing hue. The proximity of the light to the viewer. How it plays with you, seeming to follow as you walk around below. This piece is looking at you. The viewer and the piece are locking eyes, creating a new relationship.
