Lighting is an essential part of daily life—it regulates our circadian rhythm and impacts emotional well-being. But what happens when someone can't see light? How do visually impaired individuals experience it? Even without sight, light still plays a crucial role in regulating the body's internal clock. People with visual impairments can perceive light through other senses—touch, temperature, and even subtle vibrations. In my design, I want to create inclusive lighting that allows visually impaired individuals to experience light in a meaningful way, just as we do. By exploring multi-sensory interactions, I aim to bridge the gap between light and perception, making it more accessible and intuitive for everyone.
