In a world overwhelmed by artificial illumination, light—once a medium for connection—has instead created a sense of isolation. This installation reinterprets glare, softening its harshness as scattered beams filter through colored acrylic, reducing contrast and blending into a diffused collage on the scrim. Within this composition, human figures emerge, revealing the sources of light and play of colors. The piece represents a transition from excessive, discomforting brightness to a harmonious balance of shadow and color, emphasizing how intentional lighting design can rekindle emotional connections in an overexposed society.
