In some way or form, light creates a bridge of connection between people, whether it be by natural light or artificial light. “Connections in Light” uses its source of light as a way to represent natural light and the center of connection between people, as well as representing how humans will always be connected in some shape or form because of the digital world. However, it also represents how we are becoming too reliant on the digital world, as we begin to distance ourselves from the source of light creating loose and scarce connections. The stringed web pattern represents how the closer we are to the source, the more concentrated and condensed our connection with others is. As we begin to further from the source there are fewer and fewer connections showing that we can still be connected but that connection won't be as strong. The mosaic color design represents the artificial light made by the digital world and shows how it is creating fragments within our connections.
