“Random Access Memories” addresses the prompt "Bound by Light" through exploring moments captured by strangers on 35 mm film slides. Assembled to create little windows, the film slides from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s act as snapshots of people’s lives, where they’ve been, and who they are. They are scattered and randomly illuminated, allowing the viewer to see the images for only a moment. As the viewer’s eyes wander through the slides catching glimpses of peoples’ lives, they are reminded of how we are all connected to each other.
