For the Circle of Light theme, I have created a 3D installation exploring the role of materiality in lighting technology history. Metal and paper will represent different eras - industrial and pre-industrial. The warm yellow internal light will be representative of the pre-industrial era when lighting relied on candles, oil lamps, and other forms of flame-based illumination.The installation is a circular arrangement of metal and paper elements, showcasing the cyclical nature of technological progress.
