The circle of light or the water cycle? The ?World Map? explores how the water on earth plays a role in all other cycles. The continents are made of reflective aluminum with lakes and rivers cut out of them, which are illuminated when the light shines through the map. The map is made into a cone which sits around a small turntable. On the turntable is a dome with two cuts made into it to represent the sun and moon. The illuminating dome rotates on the turntable shining the sun and moon onto different parts of the map. A back board is placed for the routine light to shine onto, making an effect like water flowing.
